Kia Ora Hotel, Tuamotu Islands

Now this is the place for "the vacation", because everything about it fits in the perfect ilusion for paradise, however paradise does seem to be pricy. The images are high res, as always, so you can enjoy from afar, if that's possible.

Santorini, Greece

Greece is in my neighbourhood and I 've never been there, I am almost ashamed to admit it, but that's life. On the pictures is the village Fira, the capital of the island Santorini. Fira is settled on the edge of an impressive cliff 260m high and offers an amazing view of a submerged volcano. Earlier in the posts I've mentioned my weakness for narrow streets, and white houses pressed one to the other and churches with blue domes, well this is just like it. Plus, as you can see on the second picture there are two churches and two hotels in area not bigger then my backyard.

Bora Bora, French Polynesia

Ok, Bora Bora is a clische, but it's summertime and it's hot and i long for this kind of places. The lagoons, the beaches, those small bungalows in water just scream "get over here". So if you find yourself on Bora Bora these days you can accomodate yourself in one of the seven high-end resorts, then you can go scuba-diving or on a ray feeding excursion. Or you can just forget all this and enjoy the sand and the beaches the sun and the sea.

Ari Atoll, Maldives

The Maldives are country made up of atoll islands, and most known is heaven on Earth. I can just presume why would be named as heaven, but the sun, the clear blue waters, sandy beaches pretty much explain what's the deal. Although it is a pricey deal, it would be worthed a trip and at least two weeks on this islands. When someone is visualizing what would their vacation be, unconciensly he imagines the Maldives, I assure you of that...

Ko Phi Phi, Thailand

This is where I have to go one day. The Ko Phi Phi Islands are my dream. On the picture is Ko Phi Phi Don, the largest one of the island and the only one with permanent inhabitants. The other islands are much smaller but just as much beautiful and even more. On Ko Phi Phi Leh in 2000 was filmed "The Beach" (one of my faves) with Leonardo di Caprio and Tilda Swinton. These islands are truly what the movie purposed, a "lost paradise" hidden from the rest of the world. The most famous site on Ko Phi Phi is Maya Bay. If someone's been ther please do tell.

St. Stefan, Montenegro

Sveti Stefan (Свети Стефан) is a seaside resort located 5 km southeast of Budva, on the Budva Riviera. It used to be an tidal island, but is now permanently connected to the mainland by a narrow isthmus.

Sveti Stefan was inhabited in 15 century as a fisherman's village. In 1950s last residents of the village were evicted, and Sveti Stefan was transformed into a luxury town-hotel. It is the most exclusive resort on Montenegro's coast.

Sveti Stefan was popular among celebrities, so some of its guests were Bobby Fisher, Sophia Loren and Carlo Ponti, Kirk Douglas and Johnatan Miller and Claudia Schiffer.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

El Arco de Cabo San Lucas is a distinctive rock formation at the southern tip of Cabo San Lucas, which is itself the extreme southern end of Mexico's Baja California Peninsula. Many claim that it looks like a Triceratops taking a drink of water.
